Renee Allen Creative (RAC) is a boutique digital creative agency expanding its wings. We are young but SUCCESSFUL and looking for fresh concepts and motivated artists eager to grow. Our agency offers hands on learning experience as you will be reporting directly to our Creative Director and working with a small handful of other creatives. They must be CONFIDANT in strategically developing engaging designs, content and storytelling. We need a TEAM PLAYER and SELF MOTIVATOR. Must be comfortable supporting our brand and marketing goals for an array of industries and businesses both locally and internationally. COMMUNICATION and ORGANIZATION is key. If your have strong DESIGN skills with an ENERGETIC attitude and WILLINGNESS to take on new skills to help the team get things done, then this job is for you.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

• 2-4 years design experience (junior to mid-level designer)
• Understanding in difference between print and digital production and file output types, sizes, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Excellent knowledge of Google Drive Tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Portfolio demonstrating design skills in advertising, marketing, composition and layout design
• Exceptional visual design skills that convey a dynamic range of concept, tone, medium, color, typography and composition
• Up-to-date understanding of website and social media standards and industry best practices
• Bachelors in Graphic Design or Web Design

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must have your own reliable laptop and Adobe Creative Suite
• Must have a reliable form of transportation enabling you to get to work and client appointments on time, in a timely manner
• Must be a self-starter and able to work remote and in office depending on projects
• Must possess excellent spelling and grammar skills
• Have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing client requests
• Must be willing to take on challenges and learn new skills
• Basic HTML // CSS
• Experience with Responsive Design – mobile, desktop, tablet
• Attention to detail, above-average organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in an environment of rapidly changing deadlines and priorities

 

GENERAL JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Strategically develop marketing campaigns, annual planning and campaign management
• Photo research, editing, organizing, file naming and archiving
• Light copywriting, copy editing and proofreading
• General marketing support as needed across team
• Light task management
• Uploading blogs and content publishing, assisting with content creation
• Simple SEO management on WordPress
• Meeting and client pitch prep and support
• Light website management, content editing in WordPress, Shopify, and drag and drop CMS
• Light text formatting, some HTML/CSS based on skills
• Print and digital design
• Understanding of the printing process and file output requirements/differences between both print and web
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously in various design phases- concept, design, production edits, and finalize
• Successfully interprets project scope and requirements for deliverables
• Ability to follow and execute company brand guidelines
• Assist with Advertising, Promotions, Campaigns, Signage, Web Content, Photo and Video libraries, Social Media and Reporting – from concept to completion

BENEFICIAL SKILLS

• Photography pre and post production
• Video pre and post productions
• Experience in MailChimp, Constant Contacts or similar
• Experience using social media management programs (exe: Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite)
• Blogging
• Copy editing // Copywriting
• Experience working with project management software (exe: Wrike, Asana)

 

RAC creative agency mixes modern media and traditional advertising techniques. With our growth, we are building turn key solutions for small businesses which include Email Marketing, E-commerce, Social Media Branding and Marketing, Print & Trade Show Collateral, Photography, Video Production and more. We have a large breadth of clients. Industries include national and local retail, local professional services, food and beverage, national sporting events and international non-profits.

This is a 1099 contractors position with room to grow and consideration for long term hire.  Compensation is based on experience.
