Renee Allen Creative (RAC) is a boutique digital creative agency expanding its wings. We are young but SUCCESSFUL and looking for fresh concepts and motivated people eager to grow. Our agency offers hands on learning experience as you will be reporting directly to our Creative Director and working with a small handful of other creatives. What sets RAC apart is the opportunity to receive MENTORSHIP in a nourishing environment working on startup and small business branding and design. Our ideal candidate is SELF-MOTIVATED. A skilled CREATIVE with PASSION and ATTITUDE (the determined kind). ADAPTABLE and highly motivated with exceptional technical abilities and an EFFICIENT process. Must be able to deliver projects on time, meeting deadlines like it’s your job. After all, it is!  Must be able to bring concepts to reality and understand the creative process. They must be CONFIDANT in developing strategic and engaging content. Must be comfortable supporting our brand and marketing goals for an array of industries and businesses both locally and nationally. COMMUNICATION and ORGANIZATION is key.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

  • 1+ years marketing experience in-house or freelancing
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Drive Tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be a current student studying for an associates or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business or related field

 

GENERAL JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Strategically develop marketing campaigns, annual planning and campaign management
  • Develop your paid media skills
  • Research new media techniques, targeting features and recommend creative solutions for media planning
  • Photo research, organizing, file naming and archiving
  • Shadow Creative Director and Social Media Specialist to learn trade best practices
  • Assist with implementation and scheduling of content and optimization of paid media
  • Pull metrics and analyze data from Google Analytics and social media content management programs to create media performance reports and trends
  • Gain an insight into agency life, small business operations and learn the different roles necessary to be a successful freelancer or agency employee
  • Light copywriting, copy editing and proofreading
  • General marketing support as needed across team
  • Light task management
  • Uploading blogs and content publishing, assisting with content creation
  • Simple SEO management on WordPress
  • Meeting prep and support

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of social media advertising, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Must have an understanding in difference between print and digital production
  • Up-to-date understanding of website and social media standards and industry best practices
  • Highly motivated, and interested in learning and applying new skills
  • Good with Excel Spreadsheets and numbers
  • Must have your own reliable laptop and have access to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation enabling you to get to work and client appointments on time, in a timely manner
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work remote and in office depending on agency needs
  • Must possess excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing client requests
  • Should be kind, friendly and work well under pressure
  • Can communicate questions, concerns or needs in a professional manner in order to effectively find solutions to challenges
  • Familiarity with Google AdWords and Facebook Ads a plus
  • SEO experience
  • Knowledge of social media advertising, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Willingness to work hard to get projects done on-time and meet deadlines

 

OTHER BENEFICIAL SKILLS

  • Photography pre and post production or resizing
  • Video pre and post production
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience in MailChimp, Constant Contacts or similar
  • Experience using social media management programs (exe: Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite)
  • Blogging
  • Copy editing // Copywriting
  • Experience working with project management software (exe: Wrike, Asana)
  • Previous agency experience a plus

With our growth, we are building turn key solutions for small businesses which include Email Marketing, E-commerce, Social Media Marketing, Print & Trade Show Collateral, Event Photography, Video Production and more. We have a large breadth of clients. Industries include national and local retail, local professional services, food and beverage, national sporting events and international non-profits.
